Certified Nursing Assistants

AT Home Care clinicians are certified by an accredited Nursing Assistant program or have a state license from the Board of Nursing.

What to expect from your Certified Nursing Assistant:

• Assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting or what is known as “ADLs” (activities of daily living)
• Make bed, change linens and keep patient’s living area clean as needed
• Assist with laundry as needed and some vacuuming
• Prepare light meals and clean up after meal preparation
• Prepare and store meals in advance & assist with feeding as needed
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and/or position changes
• Medication reminders
• Checking and recording temperature, pulse and blood pressures
