A Companion is any employee that has at least one year of experience of working with the elderly as a companion. A companion is also known as a "sitter."

AT Home Care conducts a thorough background check on all of its staff and gathers references.

What to expect from your Companion:

  • Limited assistance (usually stand-by) with bathing or activities of daily living, such as grooming and dressing
  • Meal preparation(s) and preparing meals in advance
  • Making beds, changing linens, some laundry & light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
